لا شك أن تخصص علوم الأسرة والطفولة من أكثر التخصصات التي تقدم المنفعة للطلاب، حيث يقوم هذا التخصص على التركيز على أهمية تكوين أسرة متماسكة كوحدة بنائية للمجتمع، علاوة على ذلك، يعمل تخصص علوم الأسرة والطفولة على تعليم الطلاب بكيفية التعامل مع المشكلات الأسرية بحيث لم يتم أي من النتائج السلبية على أفراد الأسرة ولا سيما الأطفال منهم. كما ويقوم هذا التخصص على ارشاد الطلاب حول أهمية التربية السليمة للأطفال وهم شباب المستقبل؛ وذلك من أجل نشر الأخلاق بين أفراد المجتمع. حيث يمكن القول بأن الهدف الأساسي لتخصص علوم الأسرة والطفل هو الحفاظ على الاستقرار البيت وتجنب حدوث المشاكل، والتعرف على كيفية المعاملة مع المشاكل في حال حدوثها، وكذلك تربية الطفل تربية صحيحة من شأنها أن ترسم له مستقبلًا واعدًا. حيث يحتوي هذا المقال على أهم وأحدث الدراسات العلمية التي قام بها دارسو تخصص علوم الأسرة والطفولة.
