Apply for a university for a Bachelor's degree
The American University in Cairo strives to include distinguished and distinguished students in its classes. It also takes into account the personal accomplishments of students outside the classroom, as shown by the student’s participation rate, commitment, and leadership skills demonstrated in study and community activities.
In order for applicants to be eligible for admission to the university, they must meet all requirements for graduation from high school, maintain a distinct academic level and submit all required documents before the deadlines specified for that. The applicant does not guarantee that he meets the minimum academic requirements for admission to the university, but he does not enter the stage of selecting the applicants.
Acceptance requirements to apply for a university
- The student who does not guarantee that the minimum score required for admission to the university will be guaranteed, but rather that he will enter the selection process between students only. The minimum score for each certificate may change from year to year, according to the university’s requirements. This is a list of secondary certificates that are accepted to the university as follows:
- Egyptian high school.
- German Abitur.
- British IGCSE/ GCSE/ GCE Certificate.
- International Baccalaureate.
- French Baccalaureate.
- High School Diploma.
- Canadian Certificate (Manitoba Diploma - Dogwood Diploma - Ontario Secondary Diploma).
- Other certificates:
- Australian high school diploma.
- Canadian high school diploma.
- Greek High School Certificate.
- Lebanese Baccalaureate (Part Two).
- Secondary school certificate for West and East Africa.
Acceptance of university
- Students applying to different master's programs are admitted to the College of Graduate Studies, provided that the cumulative GPA for the student is good or higher, in addition to entering a capacity examination and a personal interview.
- In case that the rate is estimated to be less than good then its acceptance university is conditional and according to the pledge.
- As for acceptance to the family medicine and emergency medicine specialization program, the GPA is acceptable, and the student is subject to an aptitude test.
- For admission to doctoral programs, the average in the master's degree is required to be very good, and the study shall be in a regular manner.
Requirements for MBA admission in America- MBA
To start, you will need to complete the undergraduate program from an accredited educational institution. Also, you will need to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 during your university studies. Many universities have an average score of more than 300, so you should try to get high scores.
While there is no specific age requirement, it is also useful to have practical experience in some related work in order to treat your application more positively. As an international student, you must take the TOEFL test and get the highest score possible. The chairs for international students to study an MBA in America are often limited, which makes university admission very competitive, but a high level of proficiency in the English language can go a long way towards obtaining university admission into the program you want to study.

Conditions for university admission 2016
Students holding a high school diploma:
- The secondary year will be 2013-2014-2015.
- The general secondary school average is 65% or more, and 60% for some specializations.
- Student acceptance is subject to the coordination key.
Students holding a diploma:
- The secondary school average must be 65% or more.
- The diploma rate should be 70% or more.
- Not more than 5 years have passed since the diploma (2010 and above).
- Student acceptance is subject to the coordination key.
- An equation is performed not exceeding 30 credit hours.
Students holding a Bachelor's degree:
- The secondary school average must be 65% or more.
- The undergraduate rate should be 70% or more.
- Not more than (5) years have passed since the applicant obtained a Bachelor's degree (2010 or more).
- Student acceptance is subject to the coordination key.
Students transferred from other universities:
- Completion hours should be 24 hours or more.
- The student’s average in high school be 65% or more.
- The student's cumulative average is 70% or more.
- That the student be discontinued from the studies or disconnected from the university from which he was transferred.
- Not more than (3) years have passed since the applicant obtained the high school diploma (2013 or more).
- Student acceptance is subject to the coordination key.
Students holding a diploma (morning bridging):
- Not more than (10) years have passed since the date of obtaining the high school (2005 and above).
- The diploma rate should be 70% or more.
- The overall rate should be 70% or more.
- The need for the student to have a year of experience after graduating from the diploma, with the exception of al-Aqsa Community College graduates.
- The student studies a corresponding major for his major in diploma.
- An equation is performed not exceeding 30 credit hours.
- Only 10% of applicants will be admitted to this program.
- The study hour fees in this program are the same as those for students studying in the regular program.
